Catching Up

Now that I'm nearing some semblance of being caught up (I can't believe I can actually say that!), I wanted to post some favorites from a couple of my fall weddings that didn't get blogged. These weddings both took place in the Cincinnati area, and I didn't get to meet them in person until the day of. That was definitely a departure from what I am used to! I love getting to know my clients closely in the time that leads up to their wedding, and love to stay in touch afterwards. However, I was very pleased with the results from these 2 weddings, and both couples were very gracious and we were definitely able to form a rapport quickly.

I hope you enjoy these photos as much as I do! They are in no particular order; these are just some randomly picked favorites.

Heather and Earl

What FUN this wedding was!! The whole shebang took place on the Star of Louisville. Kerry and I were looking forward to this one for a while! Heather, Earl, and their families were a total joy to work with. This was one of the most emotional weddings I've been at in a while; there were tears of joy everywhere--during the ceremony, during the dances, but the most touching were during the vows. They wrote their own, and it was the most touching exchange of vows I think I've ever heard.
Well, as usual, it is past midnight when I'm trying to post, so I'll cut short the words and get to the good stuff :)
First, a quick pre-wedding shot of the happy couple at the rehearsal:
A few to set the scene:
The groom and his family arrived in style
While the bride and her girls got ready at the landing
Now, for the fabulous result of all the preparation!
The smashing groom:
Other key players of the evening:
And I can't forget this sweetie--what a doll!
Always my favorite--the details
The joyful, and tearful, ceremony
Some portraits of the happy couple
And they danced the night away...
Heather and Earl, I wish you all the happiness life can bring. Thank you for including me in your celebration of love!
